CAD Technician - SolidWorks
Beckenham, Kent, commutable from Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Greenwich, Dartford, Orpington
£35,000 to £40,000 + Annual Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Long Term Progression
Are you a CAD Technician or Draughtsperson looking to join a growing specialist engineering business, offering long term stability, training, and clear progression opportunities?
This is a key opportunity to join a collaborative design and engineering team within a busy sheet metal and fabrication manufacturing environment, working on varied and technically interesting projects. You will play a central role in producing high quality technical drawings and design solutions, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.
The business continues to grow through increasing project demand, creating a stable and forward-thinking manufacturing environment. You will be supported with on-the-job training, technical development, and clear long term progression opportunities.
This role would suit an experienced CAD Technician or Draughtsperson looking for a stable long-term position within a supportive and growing engineering business.
The Role
- Produce detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Design bespoke metal and sheet metal components
- Create fabrication drawings for manufacturing
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4pm
- On the job training provided across technical design, manufacturing processes, and project support
The Person
- Experienced CAD Technician or Draughtsperson
- Strong SolidWorks experience
- Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
