This is an exciting role for an Assistant or Trainee Quantity Surveyor looking to join a business experiencing an exciting period of growth, where you will have an opportunity to work on a bunch of exciting projects, working with high end clients.

Established for over 40 years, this highly regarded company offer commercial interior design and build services across multiple sectors. Their prime goal is centred around providing the best service possible and delivering specialist, bespoke results to their clients, covering the fit outs of commercial and office spaces. They have won several projects and continue to have an exciting pipeline carrying them well into 2024. They're now looking to onboard an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor from a construction background to join their commercial team and facilitate the uptake of new business and manage their growing workload.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to massively contribute to a business' ongoing success, assisting on various projects in a dynamic environment, working alongside an established and experienced team. The company actively encourage the development of their staff and pride themselves on a dynamic and supportive culture. They are looking to invest in an individual taking them all the way up to being chartered.
This role would therefore ideally suit a Quantity Surveyor with some experience within the construction industry, looking to work across tenders, construction, pre-construction, and mobilisation.
The Role:
- Assist with contract negotiations with clients.
- Review and advise on the construction programme.
- Client meetings: liaise with clients on commercial or procurement issues.
- Attend tender interviews.
- Produce monthly profit reports.
- Progression to Senior QS and upwards.
- Hybrid role split between office (site) and home working.
The Person
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor - must have a Quantity Surveying degree.
- Some experience in the construction industry desirable.
- Junior/Graduate QS candidates will be considered.
- Desire to become chartered or working towards chartered status.
- Full UK Driving Licence and comfortable working hybrid from offices in Warrington.
