This multidisciplinary business operates across the Southwest of England working on a variety of residential and rural projects with plans in place to take on more commercial work. The design and planning department delivers a wide variety of work including barn conversions, rural transformations, one-off new builds, extensions, alterations and small residential schemes. With clear plans in place to grow and expand into commercial conversions and bring in larger projects, they are now seeking an experienced technician/designer who can support the business through an exciting phase of development.
In this role, you will lead on technical design work under the Design Manager while contributing to the wider team. Your responsibilities will include producing technical drawings using AutoCAD, developing design solutions, coordinating with the planning team, supporting projects from concept through delivery, conducting site visits, among more.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician/designer with AutoCAD skills and live within a commutable distance to the office in Exeter. This is primarily an office-based role, with regular site visits expected a few times a month. Candidates will have the option of hybrid working one day a week.

The Person:
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Commutable to office in Exeter
- SSSTS and CSCS accreditations desirable.
