Established over 75 years ago, this company design, manufacture and repair a range specialist Rotating Machinery, Turbines and Generators. Due to continuous growth they are now looking for an additional Applications/ Proposals engineer that will receive continuous product training and development, to ensure they become a market specialist.
In this role you will office based providing quotations, technical support and developing projects alongside new and existing customers. You will produce detailed quotations and tenders during the initial project evaluation and appraisal phase. You will work closely with the engineering and design department to meet the customer's exact specification, when new solutions are required. You will be the 'go to' for your customers and will answer customer's technical, product and application questions, with the support if required.
This role would ideally suit someone who has a electro-mechanical (Pumps, Valves, Rotating Machinery, Turbine or Power Generation), looking to move into a hands on technical, project and sales role, where you will be the link up between the customer and engineering teams.
The Role:
- Applications Engineer
- Providing technical proposals and quotations
- Answering Customer queries (Technical Support)
- Working closely in conjunction with engineering and design teams
The Candidate:
- Mechanical/ Electrical qualification (Degree or equivalent)
- Confident communicator and strong communication skills
- IT literate
- Background in Pumps, Valves, Rotating Machinery, Turbine or Power Generation
