This small, family-style engineering firm based in Austin are well-respected as leaders in their field who are known for looking after their employees. The office is made up of a close-knit group of professionals, creating a relaxed but professional working atmosphere.
In this in-office role, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting for engineering projects, full training provided on industry specific accounting software. You'll support multiple project leaders with financial reporting, manage payroll coordination to the team that deal with payroll, and ensure accurate project cost tracking across the business.
This is a core accounting position, ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to finance person in a small office rather than a corporate environment with rigid ladders and red tape.
The Role:
- Maintain accurate financial records for all engineering projects
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly project profitability reports for Client/Projects
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
The Person:
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Experience using an accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Looking for stability, a friendly team, and a role you can settle into long-term
