2nd Line IT Engineer
Wandsworth
6-week contract Inside IR35 (potential to be extended)
£150 - £200 per day

Enhanced DBS is required for this role

Excellent opportunity for a 2nd line support engineer to join a prestigious School on a short term 2 month rolling contract with the potential to be extended.

This company are a well-established, dynamic and ambitious Sixth Form College with a focus on delivering excellent education to many young people from a variety of backgrounds.

In this role you will provide onsite 2nd line support for staff and students, you will provide firewall and server configuration, troubleshooting and infrastructure monitoring and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in 2nd line support, helpdesk and incident management. You will WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security and operating systems. Active directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting and administration.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd line support engineer to utilise their technical skills in a renowned higher educational facility.

The Role:

*Infrastructure / networking monitoring and maintenance
*Daily system checks including backups
*Helpdesk user support, administration and operation
*Installing, configuring and managing computers, multimedia devices
*8.30am - 16.30pm Mon-Fri

The Person:

*Commutable to Wandsworth
*Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange & Active Directory
*Experience with core server technologies including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO & Printer Management
*Previous experience in Desktop Support
*Experience with Network Troubleshooting, including switches, routers and firewalls
