Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician or Façade Designer to join a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy, working on high-rise refurbishment, external wall, cladding and fire safety projects across the social housing sector.

This established consultancy has been operating for over 40 years, providing specialist design and construction services to housing associations and local authorities across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Architectural Design Team with an experienced technical professional.

In this role, you will produce technical drawings and detailed design packages for a range of façade, recladding, refurbishment and building safety projects. You will work closely with architects, consultants and contractors, supporting projects from initial design through to construction, including site visits, technical coordination and building control submissions.

This role would suit an Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or Façade Designer with strong technical detailing skills and experience in building refurbishment or external envelope systems. AutoCAD proficiency is essential, with experience in Revit, high-rise buildings or Building Safety Regulator applications advantageous.

The Role:

• Producing technical drawings and detailed design packages for façade, cladding and refurbishment projects

• Working on high-rise residential, external wall remediation and fire safety schemes

• Supporting projects through design, planning, building control and construction stages

• Hybrid working, 9-day fortnight option and excellent progression opportunities

The Person:

• Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist, Façade Designer or similar technical design background

• Experience in refurbishment, external wall systems, cladding or residential construction

• Strong AutoCAD skills and technical construction detailing knowledge

• Knowledge of Revit, fire safety or Building Safety Regulator processes advantageous
