This well-established training provider is looking to expand its accountancy department and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountancy professional to move into education. With a growing department, expanding facilities and a strong focus on learner development, they provide an excellent environment for both staff and students.

In this role, you will deliver Level 2 and Level 3 accountancy courses to students aged 16+ and adult learners. You will support students throughout their learning journey, delivering teaching, marking coursework and providing constructive feedback to help develop their technical knowledge and prepare them for careers within the accountancy sector.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Level 3 / MAAT qualified, or hold an equivalent ATT qualification, with strong accountancy knowledge. Previous teaching experience or teaching qualifications are not essential, as full teacher training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

The Role:

• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 accountancy courses to students aged 16+ and adult learners
• Provide teaching, marking, constructive feedback and SMART targets to support student development
• Full teacher training and professional development provided, with opportunities to progress up to Level 5
• Full-time, 37-hour working week with approximately 24 hours of teaching
• Tuesday and Thursday evening teaching until 9pm, with time off in lieu

The Person:

• Holds an AAT Level 4 / MAAT qualification or an equivalent ATT qualification
• Has strong accountancy knowledge and relevant industry experience
• Looking to move into a teaching, training or education-based role
• Passionate about supporting and developing the next generation of accountancy professionals
• Confident, approachable and able to relate to students aged 16+ and adult learners
• Previous teaching or assessing experience is beneficial but not essential
