Excellent opportunity for an Engineer or Technical Professional with experience in industrial or process cooling, refrigeration, chilled-water systems, temperature control or a closely related cooling-engineering sector to take the next step in their career into an Applications Engineer role, working for a market-leading engineering services business in a varied and exciting project based role.

This company specialise in the supply, installation and service and commissioning of industrial automation, process cooling and temperature control systems throughout the UK. Due to their continued success, they have grown year on year and are known for being a great place to work with a high staff retention. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their Applications Team with a skilled engineer/ professional to support customers, suppliers and internal technical teams.

In this role use your cooling-industry knowledge and engineering judgement to develop specifications, carry out calculations, identify gaps in technical briefs and support equipment selection.

THE ROLE:
*Applications Engineer (Cooling/ HVAC)
*Supporting installations and customer projects
*Establishing application requirements, assess suitable equipment and system configurations, and recommend technically sound, practical and commercially viable solutions.
*Working suppliers, customers and internal technical teams
*Office-based role

THE PERSON:
* Professional with experience in industrial or process cooling, refrigeration, chilled-water systems, temperature control or a closely related cooling-engineering sector
* Technical project experience
* Willingness to train into technical applications
* Commutable from Tamworth, Birmingham, Litchfield, Walsall, Nuneaton, Leicestershire and surrounding areas
