Exciting opportunity for a Health and Safey professional to join an industry leading main contractor and take ownership of the health and safety function. This industry leading local company offer a great working environment with stability and variety.

Do you have a NEBOSH in Health and Safety with Construction experience? Are you looking to have genuine influence over a company's Health and Safety function?

Known for their high quality builds this contractor are thriving within the commercial new build and refurbishment sector, they provide stability, and a strong Credibility back by several ISO accreditations. Now due to growth they're looking for someone to take the lead on Health and Safety within the business.

You will be responsible for conducting site audits, maintaining ISO accreditations, providing health and safety information to pre-construction and any accident and investigation reports.

The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH with some construction experience looking to take their next step in their career in a fundamental role in the business. You will have great communication skills with the desire to lead health and safety within a business with a stellar reputation.

This position offers genuine autonomy, giving you the freedom to make the role your own, with directors who will support your decisions, value your input and give you the confidence to implement new ideas.
The Role

• Overseeing Health and Safety within a leading construction company
• Producing RAMS and supporting pre-construction planning
• Doing Site audits
• Reviewing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures

The Person

• NEBOSH qualified
• Some experience auditing construction projects
• Good understanding of ISO standards and accreditation requirements
• Highly motivated looking for an exciting new challenge
• Full UK driving licence
