A rare opportunity for someone with strong mathematical and IT skills, and some experience with pricing or quotations, to join a thriving specialist contractor offering full industry training and a clear progression route into Estimating.

Do you have experience working with prices, costs, or quotations? Are you looking to develop new skills and build a long-term career in a commercial role?

This industry leading contractor provides specialist services to major national housebuilders and has grown into a £50 million business over the past 20 years. With continued growth and investment in a brand-new bespoke head office, the company offers long-term stability, a close-knit team, and an exciting future.

You'll receive full training in producing cost estimates for project packages, working alongside the Commercial Manager and wider team. You'll develop your knowledge of pricing, supplier costs, and estimating software while gaining valuable commercial experience.

This role would suit someone with experience in pricing, quoting, purchasing, sales support, or administration. Alternatively, if you have strong numerical ability, good IT skills, and a proactive attitude, you'll be considered for full training.
With a strong track record of promoting from within, this is an excellent opportunity to learn, progress, and develop into an Estimator.

The Role

• Receiving full training in estimating and pricing
• Liaising with suppliers and customers
• Using software and Microsoft Excel to produce quotations
• Supporting the Commercial Manager and wider team

The Person

• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Experience with pricing, costs, or quotations advantageous
• Hardworking, proactive, and keen to learn and progress
