Quality Controller

This is a permanent position with a leading UK manufacturer, where you will receive full on-the-job training and ongoing support to carry out quality checks and maintain customer specifications throughout the dispatch process.

As a result of continued success and sustained demand, they are now looking to add to their quality team within a fast-paced, dispatch environment.

In this role you will inspect product quality, presentation, packing, labelling and traceability, record results accurately, escalate non-conformances, and support corrective actions. You will also complete shelf-life, defect and weight checks, and assist with internal inspections and customer audits as required.

This role would suit a Quality Controller operative from a food manufacturing or fresh produce looking for a secure long-term position with training, support, and the chance to develop your career.

The Role:

• Quality checks within dispatch in a fast-paced packhouse environment
• Inspecting against customer specifications and company standards
• Recording results and maintaining quality records electronically
• Escalating quality concerns and supporting corrective actions
• 45 hours a week plus overtime

The Person:

• Quality control experience in food manufacturing or fresh produce
• Good attention to detail with strong record-keeping and basic computer skills
• Comfortable working in cold, temperature-controlled environments and with manual handling
