Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (Commutable from: Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, Stamford, Ely, Wisbech, Spalding, Corby)

Are you an engineer with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, looking to build specialist expertise in emissions certification and regulatory compliance? Do you want a role where you'll work on major engine programmes, collaborate with international engineering teams, and develop sought-after regulatory knowledge?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation, where you'll receive training on internal systems and certification processes while developing your technical capability within a specialist certification function.

You will be part of a team supporting large engine products across global markets, working closely with engineering and regulatory stakeholders in the UK, US and India. As a result of continued demand across international markets, they are looking to strengthen the team with an additional engineer.

In the role you will support emissions certification activity, prepare changes to existing certifications, compile submissions to bodies such as the EPA and CARB, and create clear procedures and guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

This role would suit an engineer who is methodical and highly analytical, looking to develop deep specialist knowledge, take ownership of critical compliance work, and build their career in a globally recognised environment.

The Role:

  • Support emissions certification activity across international markets
  • Prepare and submit changes to existing emissions certifications
  • Compile certification applications for regulatory bodies (including EPA and CARB)
  • Gather and evaluate technical information from engineering and business teams
  • Develop procedures and guidance documents to support certification processes

The Person:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering (or a related technical discipline)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid Microsoft 365 proficiency
