With an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of a Product Development Engineer to support their ongoing product development and expansion.

In this role, you will be involved in the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept and prototype testing through to product launch and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for evaluating product performance, carrying out technical testing, producing engineering documentation and supporting quality assurance activities. Working closely with purchasing, sales, marketing and technical teams, you will help bring new products to market whilst ensuring existing products continue to meet high standards of quality and performance.

The Role:

• Supporting new and existing product development from concept through to launch
• Carrying out prototype testing, product inspections and performance evaluations
• Producing technical documentation, engineering specifications, drawings and bills of materials
• Supporting product compliance, quality assurance and testing requirements

The Person:

• Product Development Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Technical Engineer or similar
• Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Looking for a varied role with excellent training and long-term development opportunities
