Are you a graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics looking to develop your career in a hands-on technical role? Do you have strong mathematical skills, a problem-solving mindset and a desire to learn?

The company has almost 30 years of experience producing specialist fibre optic connectivity products and has recently been acquired by a FTSE 250-listed international group. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated Junior Technical Development Engineer to join their team.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and the Managing Director, receiving training across product development, testing, CAD and technical problem-solving, with increasing responsibility as your skills develop.

This role would suit a technically minded graduate or junior engineer with 1-5 years of experience, although recent graduates with strong technical aptitude will also be considered.

The Role:

• Hands-on training across product development, testing and engineering

• Technical problem-solving, diagnostics and data analysis

• CAD work and technical documentation

• Working closely with experienced engineers, with long-term progression opportunities

The Person:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (essential)

• Ideally 1-5 years of experience, although graduates considered

• Strong maths skills, technically minded and a natural problem solver

• Basic CAD skills and a willingness to learn

• Commutable to Swindon with a full UK driving licence
