Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Technician / Senior E&I Technician
Days Based Role (8-4 Monday-Friday)

Are you a Senior E&I Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Instrument Technician looking to become the go-to technical expert within a complex process environment?
Do you want a days based Monday-Friday role (8-4) where you will provide technical guidance, support the wider maintenance team and take ownership of complex E&I maintenance and shutdown activities?
On offer is a long-term, permanent position within a well-established renewable fuels business, where you will play a key technical role in maintaining plant reliability and improving maintenance standards.
The company is investing in its maintenance capability and is looking for an experienced E&I professional to become a key technical point of reference across the site.
In this role you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, support shutdown planning and provide technical guidance to colleagues and apprentices.
This role would suit an experienced E&I maintenance professional from an oil & gas, chemical, or similar process plant background, looking for greater technical responsibility and long-term stability.
The Role:
- Act as the go-to technical expert for E&I maintenance
- Provide technical guidance and deputise for the E&I Team Leader
- Lead shutdown planning and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control issues
- Maintain accurate CMMS records and provide technical feedback
- Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
The Person:
- E&I maintenance experience within oil & gas / chemical / process plant
- Strong knowledge of process control instrumentation (temp, pressure, flow, level, weight)
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Confident providing technical guidance and taking ownership of maintenance activities
