Do you have experience installing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment? Are you looking for a varied, highly technical role where you can develop your skill set and take ownership of installation projects from start to finish?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist business, offering training on industrial bespoke equipment and a varied mix of installation, servicing and project work.

This company supplies and maintains industrial equipment for manufacturing businesses across the UK and Europe. Following continued sales growth, they are looking for an Installation and Service Engineer to join their small team and support an expanding customer base.

In this role, you will install equipment onto customer production lines, working across mechanical assemblies, electrical components, sensors and control systems. You will also carry out servicing and repairs, provide technical support to customers and help plan projects to ensure installations are completed on time and within budget.

You will be home based, travelling to customer sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays and the possibility of European work.

This role would suit an engineer with mechanical and electrical installation experience who is looking for niche training, an autonomous role and the chance to work in a specialist industry.

The Role:

• Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Service, maintenance and repair work at customer sites.
• Planning and managing installation projects.

The Person:

• Experience installing mechanical and electrical or electronic equipment within industrial environments.
• Comfortable working independently and communicating with customers.
• Holds a clean driving licence and flexibility to travel.
