Redditch, Worcestershire - Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Enhanced Pension + Hybrid Working + Enhanced Holiday + Christmas Shutdown + Progression

Are you from a mechanical engineering background and looking to build a long-term career within technical sales?
This is a great opportunity to join a global engineering manufacturer where your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important as your existing product knowledge.

You'll join an experienced sales team, developing your knowledge of motors, gearboxes and geared motors while supporting customers with technical and commercial enquiries. Full product training will be provided, making this ideal for someone with a mechanical engineering background who is proactive, personable and keen to develop.

For the right person, there is a clear progression route into External Sales and ultimately Business Development Management.
The Role

• 
  Handle technical and commercial customer enquiries
• 
  Prepare quotations and recommend suitable solutions
• 
  Develop knowledge of motors, gearboxes and geared motors
• 
  Work closely with customers and external sales
• 
  Progress towards External Sales / Business Development

The Person

• 
  Mechanical engineering background
• 
  Experience within engineering, manufacturing or an industrial environment
• 
  Strong communication and people skills
• 
  Proactive, hardworking and willing to learn
• 
  Ambitious with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
