This company has established itself as a trusted electrical contractor across the North West and is now looking to expand its renewable energy offering across the region and into the West Midlands. With an established domestic customer base and a growing portfolio of commercial projects, the business is expanding into solar PV, battery storage and EV charging.

In this role, you will work predominantly on domestic properties, carrying out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and inspections, while receiving training and development to build your experience across renewable technologies. You will have the opportunity to work on EV charging points, battery storage and solar PV systems, alongside a range of traditional electrical work. There will also be opportunities to get involved with larger commercial and electrical contracting projects as the business continues to grow.

This role would suit an experienced electrician looking to move into the renewable energy sector and develop specialist skills in an industry with strong long-term growth potential. You will need to hold a Level 3 Electrical qualification and 18th Edition as a minimum, alongside a strong attention to detail, pride in your workmanship and excellent customer service skills.

The Role

• Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems within domestic properties
• Installing and servicing renewable energy systems including EV charging, battery storage and solar PV
• Working across domestic and occasional commercial projects
• Managing your own jobs through handheld applications
• 40 hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
• Full training provided to develop your renewable energy skills

The Person

• Experienced Electrician
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification
• 18th Edition
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Interested in developing a career within renewable energy
