Are you a Project Engineer or Project Manager looking for a role where you will take full ownership of engineered projects from quote through to delivery, with real responsibility for budgets, programmes and people on site?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering business supplying and supporting hygienic process and packaging equipment into food, dairy and beverage environments, in a role offering genuine autonomy and end-to-end project accountability.
Due to continued demand across their project and commissioning work, they are looking to strengthen their projects team with an engineer who can manage technical, commercial and programme requirements while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.
In this role you will design and deliver process and packaging equipment projects, produce drawings (AutoCAD / SolidWorks), procure materials and labour, schedule resources, supervise contractors, manage variations and support invoicing and cash collection. The role involves regular UK & Ireland travel with occasional overnight stays.
This role would suit a Project Engineer / Project Manager from a mechanical engineering background, looking for a role with ownership, responsibility and a clear route to increased leadership within a specialist projects division.

The Role:

• Deliver engineered projects from quotation through to installation and handover
• Design and build process/packaging equipment systems; produce drawings (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
• Manage budgets, programmes, profitability, variations and customer sign-off
• Supervise internal/external labour and coordinate suppliers/subcontractors
• UK & Ireland travel with occasional overnight stays; occasional weekend work with time in lieu

The Person:

• Project Engineer / Project Manager with mechanical engineering apprenticeship or engineering degree
• Knowledge of hygienic process/packaging equipment (food, dairy, beverage) and CDM / H&S
• Full UK driving licence
