Are you an Architectural Technician or Technologist looking for a secure, long-term position within a friendly, close-knit practice where you can take ownership of full drawing packages from concept through to Building Regulations?

This is a permanent position with a well-established architectural design practice, where you will be properly supported and can develop your technical skill set across different project types, including residential and commercial work, heritage properties and disabled adaptations.

The company are well established and have built a strong reputation by delivering high-quality work from conception through to site. As a result of continued demand, they are now looking to add an experienced Technician to support their directors and design team.

In this role you will produce full AutoCAD 2D drawing packages, manage planning and Building Regulations submissions, liaise with external Structural Engineers and carry out periodic site visits to ensure work is delivered as designed.

This role would suit an Architectural Technician with strong technical drawing capability who wants stability, a relaxed office environment and the chance to broaden their knowledge with training into areas such as CDM.

The Role:

• Producing full drawing packages from scheme through to Building Regulations
• Planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
• Liaising with external Structural Engineers and issuing technical detailing
• Periodic site visits across Northamptonshire
• Office-based role with flexibility available after probation
  

The Person:

• Architectural Technician / Technologist experience producing full drawing packages
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
• Comfortable communicating with clients and external consultants
