Are you a Quantity Surveyor from a finishing background looking for a stable, long-term role with a friendly team, where you'll be properly looked after and supported to settle in quickly?

This is a permanent position with a well-established specialist contractor, where you'll receive informal on-the-job training to get up to speed and be part of a close-knit office team, with clear routes to progress as the business continues to grow.

The company are a recognised name in commercial painting and decorating, delivering high-volume works across student accommodation, schools and academies, alongside maintenance projects. With new work won and continued success, they are now looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial function.

In this role you'll take ownership of commercial control across multiple projects, working 60% from the office and 40% from home, with travel to sites (typically within a couple of hours). You'll measure works on site, track progress complete monthly valuations and oversee final accounts. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with subcontractor experience (e.g. plastering / drylining) and strong Excel / Word skills, looking for a secure position, a good team environment and long-term prospects.

The Role:

• Quantity Surveyor role for a specialist commercial painting & decorating contractor
• Measuring works on site, monthly valuations and final accounts
• Projects across student accommodation, schools/academies and maintenance works (approx. £250 - £15k)
• 60% office / 40% visiting sites

The Person:

• Quantity Surveyor with a finishing / interiors background
• Subcontractor experience (plastering, drylining or similar) and confident measuring on site
• Proficient in Excel and Word with strong communication skills
