Are you looking to become a Quantity Surveyor? Are you highly motivated looking to build a long-term career with high-quality construction business where you can learn directly from experienced Surveyors and progress up the ranks?

This is a permanent opportunity to join a well-established, award-winning developer delivering high-end refurbishment projects directly for end clients. You will be based from their office in Sway (Lymington) and support projects across local sites within around an hour.

In this role you'll work closely with the Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor, learning the full commercial process from the ground up. Day-to-day you'll help understand project requirements, support schedules of works, communicate with the QS and Project Manager, pick up variations, measure works, and assist with ordering materials.

As a result of continued growth and an ambition to increase turnover, they are looking to add to their commercial team with someone who takes their career seriously and wants to develop into a senior role.

The Role:

• Trainee Quantity Surveyor supporting high-end refurbishment projects
• Office based in New Milton with local site visits (typically within 1 hour)
• Supporting schedules of works, variations, measurements and material ordering
• Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (42.5 hours)

The Person:

• Trainee Quantity Surveyor or someone with construction knowledge looking to move into QS
• Understanding of the construction industry and a desire to build a long-term career
• Good communicator with a driven, can-do attitude
• Full UK Drivers license
