Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a role where you can take real ownership of an ISO 9001 quality management system and drive continuous improvement across a manufacturing business? On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established engineering manufacturer, where you will become the go-to person for maintaining, developing and continually improving the QMS, working closely with teams across the site to raise standards and improve processes.

Known for quality and innovation, this company supplies into demanding technical markets and continues to invest in its people, systems and ways of working. As a result of continued success, they are now looking to add to their Quality Engineering team.

In this role you will plan and conduct internal audits, support external audits, lead non-conformance investigations, drive corrective actions and facilitate structured problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA). You will also monitor KPIs and support wider operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer looking to step into a key site role, take ownership of a QMS, and build long-term technical development within a stable, growing business.

The Role:

• Ownership of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (maintenance, improvement, documentation control)
• Internal system/process audits and support for external certification / customer / supplier audits
• Non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA)
• KPI monitoring/reporting and supporting continuous improvement across site

The Person:

• ISO Internal Auditor qualification and strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
• Experience maintaining/improving a QMS within the manufacturing/engineering industry (or similar)
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders and driving corrective actions
