Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience working on Forklifts, Powered Access, Plant or similar equipment, looking for a secure field-based role offering excellent overtime rates, extensive in-house training and genuine opportunities to progress?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing company where you will receive further technical training, cover a predominantly local patch and have the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime.

The company are looking to recruit two Field Service Engineers to strengthen their existing engineering team across the West Coast of Scotland. They offer extensive in-house training and have a strong track record of developing engineers internally, with progression available for those looking to advance their careers.

In this field-based role, you will travel directly from home to customer sites, carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of specialist equipment. The majority of your work will be within your designated postcode area, with occasional pre-planned travel further afield.

This role would suit a hands-on Service Engineer with experience across Forklifts, Powered Access, Plant or similar electro-mechanical equipment, looking for a long-term position with excellent training, overtime and progression.

The Role:

• Service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs
• Working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and engine systems
• Field based, travelling directly from home to customer sites
• Predominantly covering Glasgow / Paisley / Lanarkshire
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime available
• 5x overtime during the week and Saturday morning
• 2x overtime from Saturday afternoon, Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Extensive in-house technical training
• Initial induction/training provided

The Person:

• Field Service / Maintenance Engineer
• Ideally 3+ years' hands-on experience, although strong candidates with slightly less will be considered
• Experience with Forklifts OR Powered Access highly advantageous
• Plant or similar electro-mechanical backgrounds also considered
• Strong hands-on mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills
• Hydraulics experience advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ideally based within a G, PA1-PA3 or ML1-ML3 postcode
