Are you an Estimator or commercially minded construction professional looking to join a well established company offering excellent training, varied projects and long term career progression?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Commercial team where you will work on a varied portfolio of tenders across New Build, Social Housing and Commercial projects, with ongoing mentoring and increasing responsibility as you develop.

This company is a well established manufacturer and contractor with an excellent reputation across the construction sector. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of work, they are looking to strengthen their Commercial team with an Estimator.

In this role you will prepare competitive tenders for major housebuilders, local authorities and commercial clients. You will review specifications and contract requirements, prepare costings, work with suppliers and subcontractors, complete tender submissions and support projects through the pre contract stage.

This role would suit an Estimator or someone from a Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction or related commercial background looking to develop their career within a stable and growing business.

The Role:

* Preparing tenders across New Build, Social Housing and Commercial projects
* Reviewing specifications and contract requirements
* Pricing products, building works and services
* Obtaining competitive supply chain costings
* Completing tender submissions and pre start information
* Analysing tender feedback and supporting process improvements
* Full time office based in Dunfermline

The Person:

* Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Procurement or related commercial experience
* Construction experience beneficial
* Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
* Confident communication and excellent attention to detail
* Commutable to Dunfermline
