Mechanical Engineer (Site Based)

Preston, site based role. Commutable from Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan

£42,000 (O.T.E £55,000) + Guaranteed Enhanced Overtime (7 hours) + Bonuses + Excellent Company Benefits + Day Based, Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm, 37.5 hours) + Early Finish on Fridays

Are you a mechanically biased engineer with strong CNC machine tool experience, including large 5 axis machinery, looking to join a globally respected engineering business as a Resident Engineer with excellent earning potential?

The company supplies high value, precision CNC machinery to major global OEMs, with each machine worth in excess of £1 million. You will be working on cutting edge equipment within a world class production environment.

This is a secure, long term position offering an excellent work life balance with structured day based hours, an early finish on Fridays, and 7 hours of guaranteed enhanced overtime paid, alongside additional bonus opportunities.

The Role:

• Maintaining, servicing and fault finding on large 5 axis CNC machinery
• Working within a world class facility supporting high value manufacturing equipment
• Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 3.30pm

The Person:

• Mechanically biased engineer
• Strong experience with CNC machine tools, ideally large 5 axis machines
• Background in hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience within a precision engineering or OEM environment advantageous
