This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established training organisation based in Stockport, where you will become the main Electrical Tutor and take ownership of the Electrical provision. You will be responsible for delivering Level 3 Electrical / Engineering apprenticeship programmes, supporting learners throughout their development and helping them build the technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to succeed in industry.

The organisation works with apprentice providing a varied teaching environment where you will have the opportunity to work with both younger learners and adult apprentices. Apprentices attend in four-week blocks, creating a structured environment for delivery and learner support.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer who is looking to make their first move into education, as well as candidates who already have teaching or apprenticeship delivery experience. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential for the right industry candidate, with support available to develop your teaching career.

There is also excellent scope for progression. The previous person in the role progressed into BTEC / HNC teaching, with future opportunities available to move into higher-level teaching, trainee assessor responsibilities or employer-facing activity depending on your interests and experience.

The Role

*Deliver Level 3 Electrical / Engineering apprenticeship programmes
*Train, support and mentor apprentices throughout their development
*Deliver engaging technical teaching and practical training
*Adapt teaching styles to suit younger learners and adult apprentices
*Support learners with their progress, development and achievement
*Take ownership of the Electrical section and act as the main Electrical Tutor
*Occasionally travel to employer sites where required

The Person

*Strong Electrical Engineering industry experience
*Relevant Electrical / Engineering qualifications
*Experience working with or supporting apprentices would be advantageous
*Teaching qualification desirable but not essential
*Strong technical knowledge suitable for delivering Level 3 Electrical / Engineering programmes
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Genuine desire to move into education and develop the next generation of engineers
*Based within a commutable distance of Stockport
