Are you a Design Engineer with experience in automation, looking to work on technically challenging projects from initial concept through to the development?

On offer is an interesting and varied position where you will work for a successful and growing organisation who offers excellent training and career progression.

This well-established business specialises in designing and delivering automated systems for a range of commercial and industrial customers. Due to continued growth, it is now looking to strengthen its engineering team with an Automation Design Engineer.

In this role, you will assess customer requirements and develop suitable engineering solutions. You will produce technical designs and drawings, complete calculations, prepare quotations and work alongside other departments to support projects through their early design stages.

The position would suit a Design Engineer with an automation background who is looking to develop within a forward-thinking organisation.

The Role:

• Developing technical solutions for automation projects
• Producing designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Preparing detailed technical quotations

The Person:

• Design experience
• Understanding of automated products
• Commutable to Birmingham
