This is a secure, permanent position with a well-established manufacturer where you'll be backed by on-site development, an internal leadership training programme and clear opportunity to take on increased responsibility as the site continues to expand.

This company is a well-renowned manufacturer who works with numerous household names in the FMCG and wider industries. They have a stellar reputation for investing in its engineers through a structured grading system and role-specific training, with additional development available.

On shift you'll lead two engineers (three-person shift team including you), delegating workload and then supporting with hands-on maintenance across PPMs and reactive breakdowns, completing shift handovers and keeping records up to date (SAP/notifications).

This role suits a senior / lead engineer, Supervisor, or Team Leader who wants progression, development and increased responsibility, while still staying hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Lead a small engineering team on shift (2 engineers on shift; 3 total including Team Leader)
• Hands-on maintenance: PPMs, breakdowns, shift handover and upkeep of maintenance records (SAP/notifications)
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights), 6 to 6 [4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off)

The Person:

• Mechanical or Electrical maintenance background
• Worked in a manufacturing or production environment, or related
• Comfortable leading and developing others (delegation, prioritisation, safety-first approach)
