This well-established training provider has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality automotive apprenticeship programmes and supporting learners throughout their development. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Automotive Assessor to join their team and support apprentices across North London.

In this role, you will manage and assess a caseload of automotive apprentices, carrying out workplace visits, completing assessments, monitoring progress and providing ongoing support. The position is field based with hybrid working, allowing you to work from home when you are not carrying out learner or employer visits.

You will have the flexibility to manage your own diary and workload while working closely with apprentices and employers to ensure learners remain on track and achieve their qualifications.

The ideal candidate will already have experience as an Automotive Assessor, either within a training provider, college or similar education setting. You will hold a Level 3 Automotive qualification in Light Vehicle, HGV or PSV and have strong experience assessing apprentices. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the field-based nature of the role.

The Role:

• Assess and support a caseload of automotive apprentices
• Carry out workplace visits and assessments across North London
• Field-based role with hybrid working and home working
• Manage your own diary and workload
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Work closely with employers and apprentices
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
• 8am - 4.30pm, with some flexibility
• Company car provided for business and personal use
• Business fuel provided

The Person:

• Experienced Automotive Assessor
• Currently working within a college, training provider or similar setting
• Level 3 Automotive qualification - Light Vehicle, HGV or PSV
• Proven experience assessing automotive apprentices
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident working independently in a field-based role
• Professional, proactive and learner-focused approach
