Power Systems Sales Engineer

$100K - $140K + 40% Bonus scheme after 1st year (2nd year OTE: $140K - $196K) + PTO + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life Insurance + 401K + Travel Expenses + Other Excellent Benefits

Remote, OH: (Can be based in: Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Columbus, Toledo, Youngstown, Dayton, Zanesville, Lima, Cincinnati).

In this high-impact role, you will take full ownership of technical sales for complex AC/DC power systems, including SCR controllers, transformers, and integrated power solutions. You will work closely with internal engineering teams to develop tailored technical solutions, present proposals to customers, and convert opportunities into long-term commercial relationships. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with responsibility for managing your own pipeline, schedule, and customer base, alongside regular domestic and international travel.

This role would suit a Power Electronics Engineer, Applications Engineer, or technically strong Sales Engineer with experience in industrial electrical power systems, looking to step into a highly autonomous, customer-facing role with strong earning potential and long-term progression.

The Role:

  • Manage the full sales cycle for customised industrial power systems and solutions.
  • 40% Travel, both domestically and internationally, to develop and win new business.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and senior leadership to define customer solutions and develop business opportunities.

The Candidate:

  • Background in power electronics, electrical engineering, or technical sales of industrial power systems
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, HV power distribution, transformers, and power control equipment
  • Degree qualified
