Service Heating Engineer (Training Provided)

East Anglia- Field Based

Up to £38,000 + Holidays + Pension + Training + Van

Are you an experience heating and plumbing engineer who is looking to get into the renewable energy industry?

Do you want to join a well-established company who pride themselves on the quality of their work which has led them to continual success over the last 10 years?

This company design and install renewable energy technologies, including heat pumps, solar panels and biomass boilers, as well as other more general heating systems. They have grown continually over the past 10 years and following their recent success they are looking to expand their servicing department to accommodate for further expansion, it is because of this they are looking for a new Heat Pump Service Engineer.

In this role you will carry our planned services on previous installations as well as reactive maintenance following system problems. Your work will be assigned and organised by the Servicing Manager who will ensure all parts are available when needed to allow you to carry out your work. You will primarily work on renewable heating systems such as Heat pumps and Biomass boilers, however you may also be required to work on other technologies such as gas boilers and underfloor heating systems.

To be successful in this role you will need at least an NVQ level 2 in heating and plumbing, you will also need to be qualified to work on unvented systems. You will need at least 2 years of professional plumbing experience, any experience with renewable heating systems would be greatly advantageous.

The Role:
*Heat Pump Service Engineer
*Maintenance and servicing of renewable heating systems and other heating technologies
*Planned and reactive maintenance will be organised by a Servicing manager
*Field based position covering East Anglia: Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, East Cambridgeshire and East Hertfordshire
* Up to £38,000 + Holidays + Pension + Training + Van

The Person:
*NVQ level 2 plumbing and heating minimum
*G3 qualification
*2+ years of professional experience as a heating engineer
*Any experience with renewable heating technologies would be an advantage
