Service Engineer (Mechanically Biased)

Job description

Service Engineer role on offer for a company that will put you through formal electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition and has a great reputation for looking after staff.

Are you from a field service background? Do you have mechanical skills and basic electrical skills?

Established over 50 years ago this company manufacture and supply specialist security equipment for prestigious clients all over the world. Due to their on-going expansion they are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to cover the South West of England.

In this role you will be installing, commissioning, servicing and fault finding on bespoke, electromechanical security equipment. You will be given dedicated training on their full product range and will have the chance to do lots of overtime as well as international travel if interested.

The ideal person will have hands-on mechanical/electrical skills with an understanding of 3-phse systems.

The Role:

*Working on bespoke electrical and mechanical security equipment
*Covering South West of England
*Installation, Commissioning, Service and Fault finding
*Full product training
*Extensive overtime available
*£30'000 - £32'000 + Overtime + Training + Progression + Pension + Package

The Person:

*Experience as a field based engineer
*Mechanical skills and basic electrical skills
*Good communication skills
*3 phase electrics and 17th/18th edition desirable
