An excellent opportunity for an electro-mechanical service engineer looking for the chance to join a well-established company, where you will receive specialist training to work on bespoke manufacturing machinery.

Are you a Service Engineer with a background working on electro-mechanical machinery? Do you have experience with PLCs?

Established for over 50 years, this company specialise in the design and build of bespoke machinery used in manufacturing facilities across the globe. They have recently won a lucrative new contract and are now going through a period expansion. Due to this they are looking for a Service Engineer to join their expert team.

In this varied role you will be tasked with the installation and service of the company's entire product line. This will involve pre-installation checks, installations, fault finding, repair and general servicing. You will also be provided with specialist training in order for you to become an expert on their machines. Due to the nature of the role and locations of their clients, you will be required to travel and stay away on a regular basis. This will include the UK, Europe, Asia and North America, so you must be able to be flexible to accommodate for this.

This role would therefore suit an electro-mechanical Service Engineer with some PLC experience, who is looking for a new challenge at a well-established company who can offer specialist training and the chance to work on bespoke machinery.

The Role:

  • Service & Installation of bespoke manufacturing machinery

  • £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime & Bonus (OTE £45-50k) + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

  • Electro-mechanical service experience
  • Knowledge of PLCs - ideally Siemens
  • Happy for regular worldwide travel
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable distance to Colchester
