In this role you will be tasked with providing electronic engineering expertise for the quantum tech group through the engineering and production of electrical sub-systems used for quantum computing applications. You will also assist in the development of practical quantum computers within the research department.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Electronic Circuit & System Design of sub-systems/PCB's. Experience with Network Analysers, Impedance Analysers and LCR Meters are also essential. We are looking for a candidate with experience using vacuum chambers, cryogenic & laser systems and laboratory control systems who is able to learn quickly.

The role:

* Engineer and produce electrical sub-systems used for quantum computing
* Assist in development of practical quantum computers
* Developing new systems and procedures
* Support for the quantum research team

The person:

* Experience designing PCB's and electrical sub-systems
* Experience with electronic circuits
* Electronic engineering degree or equivalent experience
* Familiarity with network analysers, impedance analysers and LCR meters
