€90,000-130,000 + Holiday + Flexible working hours + Training and Progression opportunities

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Reverse Engineer with a passion for problem solving to make their mark on products in data visualization.

The company has a mission to establish products in the data visualisation with a focus on graphics software's that stand out from the crowd. They have developed a unique and leading tool allowing visualization in third party applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Their team is driven by a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of technology.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated Reverse Engineer, who has experience dissecting and understanding complex software systems, ensuring interoperability, and solving unique technical problems. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for unravelling the mysteries of software, this is the position for you.

The role:

  • Conduct reverse engineering activities on various software systems, including analysing compiled code and binary executables.
  • Reverse engineer network protocols, data formats, and communication interfaces.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential threats in software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compatibility and interoperability.
  • Document findings, create technical reports, and share insights with the development team.
  • Work on reverse engineering projects related to legacy software, proprietary systems, or competitive analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging reverse engineering techniques.

The person:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in reverse engineering, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Proficiency in assembly language, debugging tools, and reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and software architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations related to reverse engineering is a plus.
