Quantity Surveyor

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious business, in a Quantity Surveyor role working within the company's rapidly expanding Telecoms division.

This market-leading business offers a diverse range of services to their clients across the utilities sector, more recently expanding into the telecommunications field. The business works with a full remit of telecommunication contracts, including but not limited to FTTP rollout, civils, poling, and heavy cable recovery. In order to facilitate their growth within the industry, they are now looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor with transferrable industry experience.
The ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor from a Civils or Telecoms background looking for a dynamic new role. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working from offices in Maidenhead or Sevenoaks.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing company in a new technically challenging role, with training and progression opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role:
*Managing all aspects of QS duties for civil engineering and telecoms projects.
*Cost planning, valuation, contract administration, and final accounts.
*Contract administration - valuations, claims, negotiations.
*Prepare and submit payment applications.
*Office based role; Maidenhead or Sevenoaks.
The Person:
*Qualified Quantity Surveyor from a civil engineering / telecoms / utilities background.
*Experience seeing projects through from start to finish.
*Knowledge of civil engineering contracts.
*Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage own time.
*Comfortable working fulltime in an office environment.
