The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified/Chartered Quantity Surveyor (not essential) and come from a construction background (Residential refurbishments), with decent in field experience within the industry (at least 2 years). The company works mainly in the residential field so some experience of residential/heritage refurbishments is essential. In this role you should be capable of managing costs on a wide variety of new residential projects valued from 100k - 1 million. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to residential projects from initial calculations to final figures, seeking to minimise the cost of projects and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standard and quality.

The Role:

  • Working on mainly residential refurbishments projects (90%) and commercial (10%)
  • Responsible for wide range of pre and post contract duties including pricing, schedules, and all relevant tender documentation
  • office based role in Central London
  • Site based all over Central London

The Person:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or experience with a solid construction background
  • 3 years (at least) Quantity Surveying
