The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified/Chartered Quantity Surveyor (not essential) and come from a construction background (Residential developers), with vast experience in the industry (at least 5 years). The company mainly works in the residential field so experience of new build and refurbishment developments is essential. In this role you should be capable of managing costs on a wide variety of new residential projects. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to residential projects from initial calculations to final figures, seeking to minimise the cost of projects and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standard and quality. The Role:
* Working on residential projects (new build & refurbishments)
* Responsible for wide range of pre and post contract duties including pricing, schedules, and all relevant tender documentation
* Be a part of a close-knit team where your contribution won't go unnoticed
* Will have a balance of pricing up office work and going onto site (50/50)

The Person:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or experience with a solid construction (residential) background
* 5 years (at least) Quantity Surveying
