QC Laboratory Technician (12-Month Fixed Term)

Do you have experience of Quality Control in a laboratory or manufacturing environment? Are you keen to apply this experience in a rapidly growing manufacturing site?


This company are a large manufacturer turning raw materials into high-end products for various industries. They are looking to improve the quality of their products and reduce waste from the production process, and so they are looking to take on a new member of their Quality Lab team.


This role will involve a large amount of quality tests of materials at all stages of the production process, on both raw materials and on finished products. This will involve highlighting anomalies to prevent defective production, as well as supporting quality testing in terms of equipment calibration and repair.
The role will work on a shift system, 1 week Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM, 1 week Mon-Fri 2PM-10PM.


This role would ideally suit someone with a background in laboratory work from university, ideally working with material or data quality.


The Role

* QC Laboratory Technician
* Carrying out data analysis on raw materials and finished products
* Identifying and highlighting any issues within the production process
* Early/Late Shift Pattern- 1 week Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM, 1 week Mon-Fri 2PM-10PM.
* £21,000-£22,000 + Shift Allowance + Training + Progression + Bonus + Holiday

The Person


* Experience of working in a lab setting
* Knowledge of material/data quality
* Knowledge of quality management systems/principles desirable but not essential
* Experience of a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential
