Project Planner
Remote work with site visits to Belfast
£50K-£60K
2 year Fixed Term Contract
Monday - Friday 37 hours per week
Starting at the end of July

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Project Planner who will form part of the core Planning team for prestigious principal contractors in a 2 year long Fixed Term Contract starting at the end of July.
Working on behalf of a global market leading client within the Power sector the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team that values commitment and a passion for thoroughness on a large construction and commissioning project based on Gas installation and Civils.
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning Construction / Executing phases in a similar position that involves creating, managing and reviewing complex integrated plans. You will be adept in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project analytical skills along with the ability to summarise complex data sets.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Construction, Site Managers and Commercial Leads in managing and reviewing the Master integrated project plan.
This will involve ensuring the latest master integrated project plan is robust, analysing the planning output from the Owners Engineer and the confidence to communicate any issues, monitoring the master integrated plan and baselines for variances, identifying risks and proposing mitigations along with areas of new opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a recent experience of Project Planning of Power projects within the Plants / Construction for multiple contractors along with the ability to present and vocally explain data and critical path analysis through experience.

The Role:
*Oversight of the programme working closely with stakeholders and the Head of Construction
*Checking the planning output from the Owners Engineer to ensure its robust and reflects actual site progress
*Analysing the planning output from the Owners Engineer and communicating any issues in particular critical path status
*Monitoring the master integrated plan and baselines for variances
*Remote work with the flexibility to go on Site at least 1 - 2 times a month

The Person:
* Engineering or Analytical degree background
*Certified Project Management qualifications such as APMP
* Recent experience as a Project Planner handling Multiple package projects
*Ability and confidence to present data to all key stakeholders / boards
