Assembly Technician

Chippenham, Wiltshire

£23,000 - £27,000 + Excellent Training + Progression + Benefits + Overtime at time and a half

This well-established company produce a variety of products for cross section of industries with a focus on industrial manufacturing at this site. They are part of a multinational company that are industry leaders in the field of circuit protection and offer the broadest range of products on the market.
In this role you will be reading technical drawings to produce one off, small batch bespoke products. You will be mentored and trained by senior technicians with the opportunity to progress to more senior roles in the future. This is an extremely varied role, where no two days are the same. There is also the possibility to increase basic earning through Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half
This role would suit a hands on Mechanical Engineer/Fitter who is used to problem solving in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:
* Trainee Production Technician
* Building the semiconductor assemblies
* Read Technical drawings
* 37 hours a week, days based role
* £23,000-£25,000 + Excellent Training + Progression + Benefits

The Person:
*Ability to read/understand 2D Drawings
*Mechanical background
*Looking for a diverse role with technical training
*Competent with Excel
