£45,000-£55,000 + Days-Based, Monday to Friday (7:30am-4:30pm, 39hrs) + Early Finish on Fridays (7:30am-12:30pm) + Private Healthcare + 32 Days Holiday

Site-Based - Commutable from Wrexham, Shrewsbury, St Asaph, Bangor, Mold, and Llanrwst

Established almost 50 years ago, this British Manufacturer is renowned for its bespoke products and services, considering the client's needs and consulting throughout the process. The company has recently invested £500,000 into new machinery and they are looking to bring in a motivated candidate to aid in driving the progression of the team.

In this role, the Production Manager will be responsible for the financial forecasting and scheduling of production, while ensuring components are in place to meet the scheduling needs. The candidate will also be responsible for the motivation, recruitment, and training of the workshop team.

The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and have proven managerial experience, with an understanding of system implementation such as LEAN, Kaizen, or similar. While not essential, the candidate will also ideally have knowledge of CNC machines or CAD software.

The Role

  • Responsible for budgets
  • Coordinate delivery dates, costs, and fulfilment across sales, design, production, and procurement teams
  • Recruitment, training, and motivation of staff
  • Ensuring efficient production processes

The Candidate

  • Production Manager/ Engineering Manager/ Machine Shop Manager or similar experience
  • Proven experience in production/operations management
  • Previous experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety standards
  • Excellent communication experience
