Based in Middlesbrough (Office based working)

£25,000 - £35,000 + Company Benefits

An excellent role on offer for a Procurement Coordinator/ Buyer looking to work for a specialist in steel framing systems offering a great progression pathway up to Junior Commercial Manager and beyond.

This contractor are a specialist in steel framing systems operating in the residential and commercial sectors throughout the UK. They provide an array of project and cost management services to both their public and private sector clients. They put their employees at the forefront of everything they are striving to achieve, with quarterly appraisals and direct development plans to ensure every employee is given the support and training to achieve their progression goals. Within this role you will be responsible for assisting the Buying team in selecting and developing new and existing product ranges. Your responsibilities will include; to input and raise purchase orders on the company system; accurately inputting product information and maintaining product files; assist management to forecast stock requirements by using the companies warehouse management software; attend supplier meetings to assist the Procurement manager; generating reports to identify range performance; maintain excellent relationships with existing and new suppliers.

This role would therefore suit an individual with experience in a Procurement /Buying environment within the construction industry. You will ideally have building material experience with strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be seeking a long- term role where they can progress into management.
