Mechanical Design Engineer
Mansfield, England
£35,000 - £45,000 + 30 days holiday + pension + cradle to grave projects

Do you have experience in using 3D CAD software? Are you looking to join a well-respected, global company, designing specialist equipment from cradle to grave?
On offer is the chance to further your knowledge and experience, delivering the full design process for specialist machinery, including producing drawings, liaising with manufacturers and engaging in stress analysis for materials and designs.
This company boast worldwide exports, and offer an array of specialist tooling equipment to the gas, water and drilling industries. You will be working with a tight knit, experienced team of design engineers working in a fast paced environment on bespoke projects, to maintain the company reputation of delivering exceptional solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software to produce detailed designs and solutions. You will be managing multiple projects, designing new solutions, modifying existing drawings, improving efficiency and also working on projects from concept to production.
The candidate will have good experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D Software, will have a good knowledge of engineering materials, preferably with a background in tools or machinery and have some knowledge of stress analysis of products. This is a great opportunity to join a company with plans to develop in 2023, who continue to offer an excellent surface, while working on a variety of interesting machinery.

- 2D & 3D Designing on SolidWorks
- Conducting Stress Analysis
- Managing projects, creating BOMS
- Designing welding, hydraulic and tooling machinery

The Person
- Experience in SolidWorks/3D Software
- Knowledge/Experience in sheet metals, welding, machinery, hydraulics
- Competent Microsoft Office skills
- HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
