Materials Engineer
Project beginning in North Norfolk and ending in Norwich
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Training/Great Benefits (including a car allowance and pension contributions)

An excellent opportunity for a Materials Engineer looking to join a growing business in a good role where there is a potential chance to progress into more senior roles in the future.

Do you have experience as a Materials Engineer? Do you ideally have some management experience?

This market-leading company are one of the UK's leading engineering and construction companies; providing specialist building, rail, civil engineering and industry focussed skills to a range of market sectors including commercial, industrial, education, rail, aviation, waste and energy. This company are currently thriving and in high demand for their services which has led to them looking to recruit a like-minded Materials Engineer to join their growing team.

The role itself will include managing the site lab, maintaining the company's UKAS accreditation, managing technical staff, managing the testing budget and ensuring that test results are delivered in a timely manner to the project team.

The successful candidate can expect to become a key part of a growing team, where you will be invested in through training as you continue to progress through the business.

The Role:

  • Materials Engineer
  • Managing the site lab, maintaining the company's UKAS accreditation, managing technical staff, managing the testing budget and ensuring that test results are delivered in a timely manner to the project team.
  • £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Training/Great Benefits (including a car allowance and pension contributions)



The Candidate:

  • Experience in materials engineering
  • Ideally having some management experience
  • A background in civil engineering would be a bonus
