This company is a leading Solar company working on commercial and residential projects across the state of Florida. After rapid growth within the field they are looking to continue their growth with the goal to expand to multiple neighbouring states in the near future. This role is looking for a licensed electrician to work on commercial and residential Solar projects across central Florida. You will be required to install and test electrical wiring of solar array systems (AC and DC). This will include diagnosing malfunctioning systems as well as plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.

The ideal candidate must have a Journeyman license in the state of Florida or for those who hold a license in another state, must have the ability to get a Florida license approved within 3-months. They would ideally have some experience within the Solar industry but this is not essential. They must be a passionate team player and eager to be part of a growth company who encourage both individual and team progression.

The role:
* Knowledge to perform the basics to mid level in electrical repair/installation
* Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC/DC)
* Maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand and power tools
* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
* Plan layout and installation of electrical aspects of the projects based on job specifications and local codes

The Person:
* Must have a Journeyman license in the state of Florida or for those who hold a license in another state, must have the ability to get a Florida license approved within 3-months.
* Working knowledge of trades classifications and functions including tools, materials and task specific sequencing required for maintenance, sanitation and repairs
* Ability to delegate, train, coach, lead and motivate team members
* Proficient in computer programs
* Ability to make emergency electrical repairs, use electrical meters and construct and instal power supplies
