IT Support Engineer
Newton Abbott- very occasional travel to other sites
£32,000 - £38,000 + Training + Holidays + 21.9% employer Pension contribution
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior IT Support Engineer to join a growing company in a highly varied role offering excellent opportunities for training and progression.
This company are a group of schools who have been established for a number of years, currently with around 15 schools within the trust, they are looking to grow further.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT Technical Support in the business including hardware support, server maintenance, monitoring systems (firewalls, backups etc,) and department software such as visitor management systems. You will provide a point of escalation for members of the team and aid them in dealing with complex issues and technical resolutions, whilst helping with training.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role with good people skills and some experience of leading a small team, and have good knowledge of supporting and deploying Windows applications (O365), hardware troubleshooting, networking (LAN, WAN etc.) and SCCM/Intune.

*Day-to-day IT Technical Support in the business

*Based in Newton Abbott with very occasional travel to other local sites
*Mentoring a small team and providing point of escalation
The Person:
*Proven experience in a similar role with experience of leading a small team
*Knowledge of supporting and deploying Windows applications (O365), hardware troubleshooting, networking (LAN, WAN etc.).
*Must be commutable to Newton Abbott
