Vehicle Technician (Training into HGV)
Workshop based in Middleton
£37,000 - £48,000 (DOE) + Training + Career Progression + Private Medical Insurance + Premium Overtime (1.5 X)

On offer is a Days position as a HGV Technician, working in a clean environment for an industry leader within the Automotive sector and has fantastic opportunities for ongoing technical training and development.
Owned by a multinational holdings company, the business is a Scania approved dealership with depots and garages nationwide. They have a reputation for providing fantastic service and are continually receiving new contracts and work offering excellent stability. In this role you will be carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard. You will be responsible for the initial diagnosis and fault-finding whilst also liaising with the parts department to ensure the workshop is fully stocked. In addition you will be expected to uphold a professional and courteous service to customers.
The role would suit an HGV Technician looking for a new role that offers great job security whilst also providing great opportunities for technical development.
The Role:
- Provide routine maintenance and repair to Vehicles and Trailers
- Complete initial fault diagnosis
- Day shift - 4 on 4 off (6am - 6pm)
The Person
- Experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
- Qualified HGV Technician advantageous but not essential
